Sarah Primmer was awarded a total of £17,618 compensation after claiming the abuse had left her lacking confidence and self-esteem. She complained to Exeter Employment Tribunal about bullying and harassment when she worked in a kebab shop.
She said that both staff and bosses would ask about her sex life and questioned whether her hair was the same colour as the rest of her body hair.
She claimed that the insults began soon after starting her job as a waitress at the Rendezvous Café in Plymouth .
Ms.Primmer told the Tribunal that she was routinely subject to a barrage of innuendo up to the time of her dismissal and that she was accused of being racist when she complained to her boss.
